Asian Handicap - Sports betting market

The main difference between the Asian handicap market and the regular market (Match Odds) is that the least favorite team can compete with the strongest one before the game starts.

Real life example

A professional marathon athlete is going for a 1Km run with a friend who hasn’t run in 10 years.

Obviously this not a fair competition and so the athlete gives his friend a head start of 2 minutes so that this run can be fairer.

Asian Handicap is the same; the strongest team gives the weakest team a head start
